For over 20 years, Dr. Keesha K. Hampton, has dedicated herself to providing patient-centered eye care, focusing on education, trust, and long-term vision health. Her approach goes beyond prescriptions—she takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs, ensuring they leave her office feeling informed, confident, and cared for.
Originally from Chicago, IL, Dr. Hampton attended Emory University in Atlanta, where she graduated in 2000. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in 2004, followed by extensive clinical training at Newport Naval Station and the Veterans Hospital of Providence in Rhode Island, as well as Aran Eye Associates in Miami, FL.
As a lifelong eyeglass wearer, Dr. Hampton understands firsthand the challenges that come with vision issues. She listens, educates, and provides tailored solutions for every individual, reflecting her compassionate, patient-centered approach. Whether fitting a patient for their first pair of glasses or diagnosing an eye condition, she takes pride in offering thorough, unrushed exams that address both vision correction and overall eye health.
Dr. Hampton specializes in ocular health, emphasizing that a comprehensive eye exam is about more than just updating a prescription. She uses advanced diagnostic technology to screen for ocular diseases, dry eye, and other vision-related concerns, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care.
Dr. Hampton’s dedication to her patients earned her the title of Independent Optometrist of the Year at Walmart in 2021, a reflection of her commitment to excellence in eye care.
Beyond her practice, Dr. Hampton has devoted much of her career to serving underserved communities. She was a lead optometrist for Ray of Hope Christian Church’s Hope through Health Clinic from 2005 to 2020, offering free medical eye exams to patients in need. She also volunteered with the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, providing vision care to residents.
Her passion for outreach extends internationally—she has traveled with nonprofit health organizations to Tanzania, Kenya, and Chetumal, Mexico, offering eye exams and vision screenings to communities with limited access to eye care.
Dr. Hampton is an avid traveler and has explored six out of seven continents—with Antarctica next on her list. She enjoys immersing herself in different cultures, connecting with locals, and experiencing the world from new perspectives.
Her love for exploration and learning carries into her work, where she takes the time to educate and empower her patients about their vision. Whether in the office or abroad, Dr. Hampton’s mission remains the same: to help people see the world more clearly.
